Volunteer Groups are active on all parts of the commons and regular work parties are organised to undertake maintenance and clearance works.  All voluntary conservation work is agreed with, and coordinated by, the Commons Conservators.

Kingwood Common Conservation Group

The KCCG is run in partnership between the Commons Conservators, Kingwood Volunteers and the Chilterns Society.  The group meets twice per month and is always welcoming to new volunteers.  For more information, or to get in contact, view their site here.

The Green Gym

The Green Gym (based in Sonning Common) brings groups of volunteers to keep fit and health whilst undertaking useful work to improve community areas for recreation and wildlife.  The Green Gym organised events on several areas of the commons.  Visit their site here for more information.
